Cellcolabs is a biotech impact start-up on a mission to disrupt healthcare as we know it through advanced cell therapies. Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSCs) have shown groundbreaking potential to cure and treat a myriad of diseases and ailments. Through efficient, large-scale production of MSCs, Cellcolabs fuels the advancement of MSC cell therapies – to ultimately improve global health.
Cellcolabs is based on 20 years of research from Karolinska Institutet and is approved for GMP production of ATMPs by the Swedish Medical Products Agency. The company is founded and backed by some of Sweden’s foremost health and life science entrepreneurs as well as Norrsken.
Key responsibilities
Financial processes: Forecasting, budgeting, accounting, reporting, and audits
Analytical modelling and decision making: Support management and board with analyses and facts for important business decisions.
Process Development: Implement and continuously improve scalable finance processes including required supporting systems and tools
Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial and tax regulations
Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with financial and legal vendors and partners and create reports to investors
KPI Management: Establish and track key performance indicators
Fundraising Support: Prepare reports, analyses, and coordinate with financial institutions
Risk Management: Develop financial risk policies and procedures
Supply Chain Management: Optimize sourcing, purchasing, and contract negotiation
Communication & Collaboration: Educate and ensure a cost focused organisational culture
About you
We are looking for someone who have:
Strong analytical skills and an attention to detail
Strategic Mindset, combining financial expertise with long-term business strategy
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment
Strong drive for results and self-management, you take initiative and are proactive in tackling tasks and challenges and get the job done
Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
Ambition to enable cross-team collaboration and helping the entire organization become more fact-based and analytical when making important decisions
Experience in working in diverse markets and cultures, adding a valuable global perspective to our business and working with integrity and respect for all
Desired qualifications
Degree in business administration, majoring in finance or accounting
8+ years in financial management, accounting, or business controlling roles being exposed to leadership roles
Track record of delivering results in a scaling company
Tech-savvy with experience in financial software and analytical tools
Excellent verbal and written skills in Swedish and English
Experience with VC-backed scaleups, PE/VC firms, or consulting preferred
Supply chain experience is a plus
